Margaret Atwood - Year of the flood There are two factors that led to me picking this up 1. The Cover looks pretty and the book has a dust jacket - I freaking love dust jackets. 2. The Blurb - and I quote the source directly ” a natural disaster that will alter Earth as we know it.  Now it has occured, obliterating most human life.  Two woman have survived: Ren, a young trapeze dancer locked away in the high end sex club where she works and Toby, a God’s gardener who locks barricades herself inside a luxurious spa where many of the treatments are edible.
